Lucid Labs seeks a Game Artist with at least (2) two years of experience working with games or related media, with a passion for creating low-fidelity stylised 2D or 3D visuals.
Researching, conceptualising, and crafting a unique/fresh visual style while working closely with the team.
Creating assets based on the finalised visual style, including characters, environments, game elements, etc.
Conceptualising and creating the UI/UX.
Creating low-fidelity animations to help the game world feel alive.
Creating promotional assets, including but not limited to game logo and icon, screenshots, marketing materials, etc.
Guiding the aesthetics and the vision for the game both artistically and as a team player.
Love and passion for video games with an ambition to push the boundaries of the medium.
Previous experience in either game art or related media.
Ability to lead and create a variety of production quality game art.
Passion to research and conceptualise new and experimental visual styles.
Pride and responsibility in your work when given the freedom to work independently.
Modesty and respect when receiving feedback from your team.
Ability to communicate in English in written and oral form.
Applications without a portfolio (link or Cloud Drive) will not be entertained. A portfolio in games is preferred, but a portfolio in a related field is welcome. You will be working with an all-remote team and we welcome people from all timezones. You are free to work in your desired time of day but you may be required to be present at specific times, mostly to sync up with the project's progress and the team.
